Join Susan B. Taylor & John Roller in this three hour workshop as we weave a small open basket on a lathe-turned, cherry base. Using several sizes of reed, students will learn to twine, triple-twine, weave individual rows, and to set up a space for embellishing with “Cherokee Wheels”. The basket will be finished with a sturdy, lashed rim, with a filler. This basket is useful in every room in the house, and is created to last a lifetime! All materials for one basket are included.
Limited seating available. An 80% refund will be issued if the participant cancels by 5/20/2019. For cancellations made less than one week prior to the event, BRAHM will issue a refund IF the museum is able to fill the vacated spot.
This workshop is appropriate for Ages 12+ and adults.
Cost is $70 for BRAHM members/$75 for nonmembers.
