Join in this workshop and create a 10 in x 10 in finished size rug hooked piece using a combination of regular hooking and proddy. Proddy is a sculptural hooking technique where wool stands up high on the rug and is cut by hand to create flowers, petals, leaves, etc. Create a sunflower or hydrangea composition that can be used as a pillow top or hung in a quilt frame. Students need to bring a pair of fabric scissors, a 14-inch quilt or rug hooking frame and a hook. A limited number of frames are available for student use and hooks can be purchased from the instructor for $10. The wool and backing materials will be provided.
