The Jubilee is in the historic Spartan Theater building at 25 North Main Street in downtown Sparta, a small town nestled in the mountains of northwest North Carolina.

Locals and visitors look forward to this free concert series each year, with shows starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Tate-Evans Town Park Amphitheater. Outstanding local and regional bands play fun dance music suitable for all ages, from Southern Rock to Oldies and Soul/Funk. Food vendors are on site and there is a raffle to support the series.
Some tips and answers to FAQs: Small picnic coolers are allowed and please make sure all beverages are in plastic cups. Chairs or a blanket are recommended and may be laid out on the morning of the concert. The shows start at 6:30 p.m.; arrival at 6 p.m. is suggested to find parking. Bug repellant is not usually necessary here in the High Country; but it never hurts to have it, just in case.

Concerts are on Sundays from 4 p.m. until approximately 6 p.m. They take place in our intimate Atrium, which seats 60 guests. Seating is first come, first served and the museum opens at 1 p.m. on Sundays during the summer. Each concert will have a brief intermission.

BRAHM is excited to announce its 2019 Summer Concert Series! From old-time and Irish fiddling to classical violin playing, there’s a little something for everyone. Our concert series brings touring artists for intimate performances in the museum. Programs range from classical to old-time, traditional Appalachian to jazz - with something for all ages. Our concert series runs monthly from June to September, as well as special events.

Blowing Rock’s Concert in the Park Series is an annual set of free outdoor concerts. Always on Sundays following Art in the Park, the performances offer entertainment from a variety of musical genres. Family-friendly and casual! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to Memorial Park on Main Street to enjoy the music- all concerts begin at 4pm.
CROSSNORE JAMS are held in the “Meeting House” in the center of town on the first Friday of the month throughout the year from 7:00 t0 9:00.
Jesse Smith provides lively Jam Sessions that are free and open to all.

Every first and third Tuesday night of the month, you can find the best mountain music in the high country at the American Legion Building in Blowing Rock, NC. Hosted by local bluegrass band “Surefire”, the RW&B Jam showcases local talent and is welcoming to musicians, singers, and dancers of any skill level. Every night is a completely different show and you really never know who might show up; from front porch pickers to Nashville’s finest. Food is served at 6:30 by the Brushy Fork Baptist Youth Group and the music starts at 7. We ask that you give a $5 donation at the door if you can and be prepared to have a good time with us!
